CDR Tool 16.0.1

Post by Tom Curtis »

I have worked several crashes in which the EDR printout was analyzed. I have just begun a case in which there is only-2.5 seconds
,no airbag deployed.

I have never seen a printout without the 5 seconds pre-crash eing utilized and have data in them

It was not a head on grinding crash, was a "tip" on the right rear sending the car ROTATINGING CLOCKWISE.

mY CONCERN IS THAT IT SHOWS ONLY -2.5 SEC IN PRE-CRASH DATA.

Tom,

What is the vehicle in question? Some GM vehicles have 2.5 seconds of pre-crash data reported at .5 second intervals.
