Staged Crash During Conference
Can anyone advised what types of staged crashes will be at the ARC-CSI Conference?

The list of planned crashes won't be completed until the April / May time frame; the test vehicles are still being gathered. Keep tuned and they'll be posted soon!

Like Mike said, were still working on the crash test plan for ARC CSI. What I can tell you is that we have been able to line up some great vehicles already.Lenny wrote:Can anyone advised what types of staged crashes will be at the ARC-CSI Conference?

Even now the crash plan is not cast in stone. The Crash Team Boot Camp does not even know what vehicles and resources they will have available to them to plan their crash until Saturday.
However, we will have both Phantom Drivers out there and we have some neat crashes planned. A couple of the unusual ones involve:
Radio controlled wheel air-outs or "blow-outs" preceeding crashes for ABS and/or TPMS equipped vehicles.
An angled frontal impact to an ambulance with crash dummies representing the patient and EMT attendant.
An SUV offset head-on to a small low fronted sporty car that kind of looks like a ramp.
I can't wait!!
