Europian cars CDR support

Post by zend »

Hi there,

I have tested support of europian cars by CDR tool, and found out that the coverage is very small.
I have tested Honda CR-V 4, Toyota Camry 2014, Mazda CX-5, Volvo V-40 2014 etc.
None of these cars srs ECU is supported.
For some I got VIN error, for some - ECU version not supported, and for Toyota I've got no event info, but it is not trueth.

Does somebody has a comment for this?
I can give ECU numbers that I have been tested.

Thanks

Most of the vehicles you mention are NOT currently supported by Bosch CDR Tool in Europe, except the 2014 Toyota Camry. The 2017 Volvo V-40 is supported in the European market, but not before.

If the vehicle is not listed as supported in the CDR Help file, you can expect to get the VIN errors you mentioned. I'm not sure what the problem is with the Toyota Camry you tested, as you have not provided sufficient information.

For Toyota you can see on the pic here:

Image

The left - is original data that was written to ECU CPU.
The right- is what CDR read from ECU.
The result os no event info.

The screencap of the CDR data your provided indicates that you were able to download data from the ACM. In other words, you were able to communicate with the module. What is the specific discrepancy you are suggesting?

I suggest posting the original .cdrx file so that we may see the entire file, not just a small bit of the hex data.
