New Detroit Assurance 5.0 w Driver Facing Camera

Has anyone come across a freightliner with the Detroit Assurance 5.0 system with a driver facing camera equipped. The owners manual says the camera can record video in certain critical events and that this video is obtainable through the owners Detroit Connect portal. Problem is, my client is not subscribed to Detroit Connect. I'm trying to determine what data, if any, is stored locally. There was no SDP either to transmit data which i saw can be a configuration. Has anyone come across this issue and spoken to someone at Diamler? I haven't had much luck with my contacts. I'm thinking it could be similar to how data is stored on SDPs even if the owner doesn't have an active subscription to their service.
