VW Up 2021 cable #805 does not fit
I got airbag module from VW e-Up (OEM 6C0959655S) for reading, CDR tool help says that #805 cable should be used for it, but I discovered that the cable plug has different size and pin combination, the same with #804 cable which is for older models of VW Up. Crash Data Retrieval Help does not have any topics about it. Any thoughts about this situation? Can it be that some VW Up models are not retrievable?

Re: VW Up 2021 cable #805 does not fit
I'm seeing the "up!" listed with the 805 cable for D2M. In fact, MOST non-North American sold VW ACMs seem to call for the 805 cable (and some in NA despite the Market Code). The 805 cable is called for ACMs for SKODA, Audi, and, Seat ACMs as well. The part number you gave is the ACM. Probably the next best bet is to post a picture of the cable next to the connector end of the ACM for comparison. The 805 cable is white/grey. There is also supposed to be an 806 cable but no mention of it with the "up!".
That said, Bosch gets cable-to-module details from the OEM. They group the ACMs by production lines as best they can to a vehicle model year, HOWEVER, model changes in a production period/year may mean there could be more than one module in a given vehicle model line. The Help file is there to guide us to the OEM and then model to identify the MODULE (in some cases, moduleS) and we're getting data from the module NOT the vehicle so the best they can do in a static Help file is list the most common or the one designated by the ORM for a particular vehicle model/model year.
If you were to look at the DATA link for the "up!", you'll notice that the "data overview" for this type of system mentioned more than one cable. Specifically, it reads: "Volkswagen Group EDR Data Overview (Cable ID 804, 805, 813 and 826)." I suspect one of the other cables might be the one for your specific module. But a picture would help.

Re: VW Up 2021 cable #805 does not fit
Actually, I tried to fit all the VW cables we have in our company, no one looks similar like socket of that module. I looked at site https://crashdatagroup.com/collections/volkswagen, none if it looks like ACM socket too...
I got an email from local VW dealer, they say, that this ACM is used for VW Up's from 2017 to 2024, so it should be readable. Very strange. I attached photo (I hope I did ) of the socket. I'm very new guy in this forum, so I don know how to use all features yet.

Ok, not take a photo of the cable next to the socket for comparison/scale and then one of the top label, too, please.

Here is all the cable we have - 804, 805, 806, 813, 826, 842. None of it suitable for that module...

Re: VW Up 2021 cable #805 does not fit
Thanks you Vidas. It seems like the second one in the first post (the 805) IS about the right size BUT the problem looks like it is the keyways - the tabs in the connector end of the ACM vs the lack of cutouts in the 805 cable. I'll pass this on to Bosch and see what they can sort out.

Thank you for your effort! Will see what Bosch would say about it.
And two more questions. Yesterday I did Maserati Ghibli data retrieval. I got report with 2 recorded events, but according to the ignition cycle number, last event is recorded as old event (1st Prior Event) and older event recorded as a most recent event. How it is possible? I never seen that before.
Also I had a couple situation with BMW's steering wheel angle data. For example, I have positive steering wheel turn angle, to the right, but according to accident place situation, it is obvious, that it should be negative (to the left), because car before accident was moving to the left. How can be explained that situation?

Vidas: You need to break your last into individual questions and include the CDRx files in the "Crash Data Retrieval User Forum" this way people can find them using the search function for related questions later and get the full context of what you're looking for.
Also, in the Crash Data Retrieval User Forum, there's a new, related post: 2014 Passat Cable Doesn't Fit Module
