Could someone assist me in obtaining collision data from the XC60? Specifically, I require guidance on accessing the Event Data Recorder (EDR) data and locating the EDR in the XC60. Is it possible to purchase a tool or connector to download the data onto my laptop? How would this process work? Can I able to disconnect the EDR box and take it with me from the towing garage?

The Event Data Recorder (EDR) is not a stand-alone device, it is part of the airbag control module. The Bosch Crash Data Retrieval Tool (see The Crash Data Group's website for details. I just finished a series of crash tests involving data from a 2022 XC60. You should be able to find someone in your area with the tool whom you could hire to retrieve the data.
